Jumia: Goel joined Jumia in December 2020 as the Head of Global Fulfillment Operations, where he played a crucial role in enhancing shipping efficiency across all markets. Under his leadership, Jumia Express doubled its capacity within 18 months. In November 2022, he became the CEO of Jumia Uganda, focusing on improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Lafarge Group: Prior to his tenure at Jumia, Goel held various strategic roles at Lafarge Group, a major French multinational. His responsibilities included strategy, finance, and supply chain management across Europe, Asia, and Africa. He contributed to significant digital initiatives and operational improvements during his time there.

Early Career: Goel began his career as a software engineer in India before transitioning into strategic roles in the manufacturing sector. This diverse background has equipped him with a robust understanding of both technology and business operations.

Vinod Goel holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and a dual MBA degree from MDI Gurgaon in India and ESCP Europe in London. His educational background supports his expertise in strategy and operations within complex business environments.
